Menri Monastery has suffered serious damage from the recent heavy monsoon rains in India. Fortunately, no-one was injured from the landslides and the monastery has food and water, but there is serious damage that needs to be repaired. Medical College Building cracked from excessive rain water flowing underneath. Landslide near yogi Temple caused cracks at foundation of the building. Stupa Temple and library building have water leakage from ceiling and walls and cracked pillars. Major landslides at Nunnery road completely block road and the nuns daily life has been disrupted. Ligmincha Texas is collecting donations for Menri and will forward 100% of all money we receive to the Monastery for repairs.
