DESCRIPTION:How to Draw a Bön Stupa	\n		\n			– Days\n– Hours\n– Minutes\n– Seconds		\n		\n	\n\n		\n							\n						\n				\nInformation			\n			\n					\n	\nTaught by Geshe Denma Gyaltsen\, Resident Lama\, Ligmincha Texas \nA Stupa\, or Chorten in Tibetan\, is a mound-shaped religious monument from the Buddhist\ntradition. It is said that its shape represents the mind of the Buddha. A stupa includes the five\nbasic geometric shapes that correspond to the five elements. In the Bön tradition\, there are 120\ndifferent specific designs that represent different manifestations of the Buddha’s mind. Each part\nof the design holds deep meaning. \nGeshe Denma will guide us through the drawing of a stupa\, and explain the meaning of each part.\nThis information will allow you to build a Stupa. This is the first time this topic has been taught at\nLigmincha Texas and possibly the first time it has been taught in the United States. DESCRIPTION:Description					Join us every Wednesday for this beautiful Bön Buddhist meditation practice. This weekly meditation practice is open to beginners\, experienced practitioners and everyone in between. Our practice is based on the Bön Buddhist wisdom tradition that has been handed down from teachers to students for centuries. Join us and give yourself the gift of meditation with the support of a group. \nThe first Wednesday of every month will include a focus on supporting beginners. The second Wednesday of each month will include an additional discussion of the lineage masters of the Zhang Zhung. \nOur Wednesday sessions consist of the following set of practices: \n– The Nine Breathings of Purification\n– Tsa Lung (Tibetan Yoga)\n– The 5 Warrior Syllables (Tibetan Sound Healing)\n– Silent Meditation\n– Recitation of the Precious Garland Bardo Prayer (optional)\n– The Invocation of Yeshe Walmo\n– Dedication of Merit\nThese sessions are open to the public.
