DESCRIPTION:How to Draw a Bön Stupa	\n		\n			– Days\n– Hours\n– Minutes\n– Seconds		\n		\n	\n\n		\n							\n						\n				\nInformation			\n			\n					\n	\nTaught by Geshe Denma Gyaltsen\, Resident Lama\, Ligmincha Texas \nA Stupa\, or Chorten in Tibetan\, is a mound-shaped religious monument from the Buddhist\ntradition. It is said that its shape represents the mind of the Buddha. A stupa includes the five\nbasic geometric shapes that correspond to the five elements. In the Bön tradition\, there are 120\ndifferent specific designs that represent different manifestations of the Buddha’s mind. Each part\nof the design holds deep meaning. \nGeshe Denma will guide us through the drawing of a stupa\, and explain the meaning of each part.\nThis information will allow you to build a Stupa. This is the first time this topic has been taught at\nLigmincha Texas and possibly the first time it has been taught in the United States.
