Lama Tashi’s public talk and teachings will focus on the Heart Advice of Tapihritsa and Help and Protection from Sipé Gyalmo.
These two teachings are part of the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyü teachings. These were never hidden during times of persecution and therefore the transmission remains direct and unbroken.
The Heart Advice of Tapihritsa introduces students to the natural state of their own mind. The advice is divided into four categories:, The Four Immeasurables, The Five Practices, The Four Leavings in the Ultimate Nature, and The Three Kinds of Confidence.
Help and Protection from Sipé Gyalmo: Sipé Gyalmo is one of the main female protectors of the Yungdrung Bön tradition. She protects health, prosperity and spiritual development as well as supporting our success in whatever we want to accomplish. Lama Tashi will give instructions regarding prayers and offerings to Sipe Gyalmo.
Yangton Lama Tashi Gyaltsen Rinpoche was born in 1954 in the remote region of Dolpo, northwest Nepal. He is the Head Lama of Yantgon Thongdrol Phuntsog Ling Monastery.
