It is easy to become overwhelmed by all the problems and suffering in the world and by the difficulty in our own lives. We live in our minds and exist from day-to-day in a dream-like state where we’re not really connected to the world around us, nor centered in our own body or being. We become preoccupied with memories of the past, churning thoughts and worries about the future, and judgments and reactions to the few things we do see.
If you are not in touch with your inner self or Buddha nature, it is very difficult to see or respect it in others. Lama Geshe YongDong will share his knowledge and guide students in mindful awareness methods using meditation and mantras to practice compassion & equanimity. Learn about the true nature of mind, your Buddha nature! We don’t need to do huge, worldwide important acts – every mindful act, every intention, every small prayer, helps to heal the world.
To ensure we have enough time to plan for accommodations for everyone, we are asking everyone to register early for this event. We’re offering an early bird price for registrations received on or before May 12, 2017. Make sure to register by then to receive your discount.
